Mariesme was born in Barcelona. All three scents in the first collection are named in Catalan after specific neighbourhoods (Horta-Guinardó, Gràcia, and the gardens of the El Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau) because each one is a real memory, not a mood board. I lived in these places. I walked these streets at midnight, spent summer afternoons on terraces in Gràcia, and visited those gardens more times than I can count. The perfumes are my attempt to bottle what it felt like to be there.

Every ingredient is plant-derived, and every ingredient is listed - on the label, on the product page, and on every insert card. Not because regulations require full disclosure (they don't), but because I spent years hunting for honest ingredient information on beauty products and found the experience exhausting and off-putting. If you're going to put something on your skin, you should know exactly what it is.

That's my promise to you: radical transparency. No synthetics, no phthalates, no animal ingredients, and no animal testing. Just pure plant ingredients. (And nothing else.)
